The Wall of Legacy

At UMMSA’s 51st Annual Dinner, the team proudly introduced its newest initiative: the Wall of Legacy. This project is designed to celebrate and recognize the contributions of past MSA teams and leaders. By highlighting their hard work, commitment, and the opportunities they helped create, UMMSA honours the individuals who shaped the organization into what it is today.

The Wall of Legacy not only commemorates those who came before, but also serves as an inspiration for current and future members, encouraging them to step forward and serve the Muslim community sincerely, for the sake of Allah.

What the Wall Represents

The Wall of Legacy is a visual tribute to UMMSA teams from 2017 to the present. It stands as a symbol of gratitude toward those who laid the groundwork for the values and vision UMMSA upholds today. The wall tells a story of growth, dedication, and impact; a timeline of accomplishments and memorable milestones that reflect the organization’s journey over the years.

Why

The Wall of Legacy serves as a heartfelt acknowledgement of the dedication, sacrifices, and service of previous UMMSA leaders and team members. It reinforces the idea that today’s successes are built on the hard work and vision of those who came before. By displaying each team’s contributions and including the names of all members from 2017 to 2025, UMMSA ensures that no effort goes unnoticed and that every individual is remembered and appreciated. The wall encourages a culture of gratitude and continuity, reminding current students that they are part of a greater mission rooted in service, unity, and faith.
